Ceylon Teas offer a variety of black tea flavors. Ceylon make perfect afternoon teas and can handle milk and sugar, if that is your preference.
What:
Ceylon tea : Hot water : Ice (1: 25:15)
Ingredients:
- 1 part Ceylon black tea (e.g., 10g)
- 25 parts hot water (e.g., 250ml at 95°C)
- 15 parts ice (e.g., 150g ice)
Procedure:

Boil Water: Bring water to 95°C (just below boiling point).

Brew Tea:
- Add 1 part Ceylon black tea to a brewing vessel.
- Pour 25 parts of hot water over the tea.
- Stir gently to ensure the tea is fully immersed.

Steep:
- Let the tea steep for 15 minutes.

Cool Down:
- Once steeping is complete, strain the tea into a container.
- Add 15 parts ice to quickly cool the tea and dilute it to the right concentration.

Serve:
- Your Ceylon Black Tea is now ready to serve!
To keep tea fresh, consume within 4 hours after brewing.
